Program Review Role Descriptions

  • Program Review Primary Contact
  • Program Review Site Administrator

*Potentially two separate roles for Student Affairs/CAS and Academic Affairs 

Program Review Primary Contact 

What are the responsibilities of a Program Review Primary Contact?   

The Program Review Primary Contact is responsible for the direction and goals for Program Review use. They will work with Campus Labs to translate Program Review process to online solution. They should possess extensive knowledge of Program Review cycle, including the self-study requirements and evaluation process. They are likely to serve as a Site Administrator as well.  

  On other Campuses, who has been a Program Review Primary Contact?   

Site Administrators have held titles such as Director of Assessment, Director of Institutional Effectiveness, Associate Provost, Dean of Instruction. Based on your campus processes, we often see different primary contacts from student affairs and academic affairs working collaboratively to facilitate the use of the site through the lens of these different areas.  

   What is the level of involvement and time commitment of a Program Review Primary Contact in orientation and implementation?

  The onboarding process involves a thorough review of campus processes and documentation with your Campus Labs Consultant prior to formal training. The Primary Contact will then attend two trainings. After each training they will complete specific steps to configure their Program Review site and meet with their Campus Labs consultant.  

What is the level of involvement and time commitment of a Program Review Primary Contact after launch?   

The Primary Contact will be a contact point on campus for users as well as a contact point for Campus Labs regarding check-ins, product updates, and product communications.

 

Program Review Site Administrator   

  • Potentially two separate roles for Student Affairs/CAS and Academic Affairs 

What are the responsibilities of a Program Review Site Administrator?   

Works with Campus Labs to translate Program Review process to online solution. Should possess extensive knowledge of Program Review cycle, including the self-study requirements and evaluation process.   

On other Campuses, who has been a Program Review Site Administrator?   

Site Administrators have held titles such as Director of Assessment, Director of Institutional Effectiveness, Associate Provost, Director of Student Affairs, Dean of Students, Vice President for Student Affairs, or a supporting administrator in any of the associated offices. Knowing that there may be variations in oversight and process for student affairs and academic programs, we often see campuses identify at least one person from each area to oversee their unique processes.   

   What is the level of involvement and time commitment of a Program Review Site Administrator in orientation and implementation?
